We are the world’s best coffee beans producer in Uganda, Africa. We are specialized in production of two types of coffee beans Coffee Arabica, and Coffee Robusta.
Coffee Arabica which is grown at high altitudes that are between 1,300-2,300m above sea level and Coffee Robusta coffee is grown at lower altitudes ranging from 900-1,500m above sea level.
Robusta Coffee Production
Robusta coffee beans are of a lower grade than Arabica which is also cheaper and stronger, and are typically grown at lower elevations. They are easier to grow and maintain, and they are also more disease resistant that is easier to tend to on the farm, has also higher yield and is less sensitive to insects.
Arabica Coffee Production
The Arabica coffee plant grows well in humid climates but can’t handle frost. It prefers temperatures ranging between 15°C to 24°C or equivalent to (59°F to 75°F) and likes to be grown in the shady parts.
The Arabica coffee beans is the most popular type of coffee which has a higher quality of beans and is referred to as gourmet coffee. It has a half the amount of caffeine as Robusta and has more pleasing flavours and a smoother aromatic properties that have a sweeter, more complex flavor that you can drink straight.
We produce some of the best Arabicas and Robustas in the country. Our coffees are shade grown in our own farms. We hand-pick the coffees and delicately process them to bring about the intrinsic taste in every cup. Every step of the cultivation, harvest and processing is handled with an utmost emphasis on sustainability.
